Overview
Taktvolt is built for electronics and gear stores with large catalogues and shoppers who compare. It looks like a precise control panel: panel grey, graphite and one signal orange, mono numbers, machined corners and a lot of information per screen without clutter.
The signature is the command bar and compare tray. The search field is the header: press Ctrl K, Cmd K or / (or tap on a phone) and a palette shows matching products with their key specs before Enter. Tick Compare on any card to collect up to four products in a docked tray, then open a side-by-side table with differences marked and an Only differences switch. The tray follows the shopper across pages.
Taktvolt comes in two versions, each sold separately: a Shopify theme for Online Store 2.0 and a static HTML template for any host. Both have the same design and signature features; what each version includes is listed below.
Shopify version: what you get
- Header: the command bar (a real search form without JavaScript) with a category dock underneath; dock chips open dense panels with real product counts.
- Home sections: Category dock (text tiles with real counts), Spec list (products as parts-list rows), Range table (compare one product family, differing rows marked), Kit builder and Support panel.
- Product page: spec sheet with a sticky sub-nav (Overview, Specs, In the box, Accessories, Support), key-spec readout, price per storage or size option, stock with shipping time, warranty and returns, a back-in-stock request through your contact form (no app needed), and a sticky buy bar.
- Kit builder: a main product plus accessories with a running total, added to the cart in one request.
- Collection page: name and count readout, sub-category chips, a sticky filter toolbar (Search & Discovery filters as dropdowns, a bottom sheet on phones), sorting, and a grid / list switch saved on the device.
- Shopping: cart drawer with recommendations, quick view, recently viewed and pickup availability.
- Online Store 2.0: JSON templates, header and footer section groups, app blocks in the main sections.
- Colour schemes: four, including a full dark scheme, all checked for AA text contrast.
