Overview
Folimoda is built for fashion and apparel brands that tell a story with every season. It reads like a printed magazine: a masthead header, a contents page, two-page spreads, and black ink on paper with one press-red accent.
The signature is Credits. A photo sits beside its garment list, like magazine credits. Point at a line and the piece is marked in the photo with a pin and an outline. On a phone the first tap marks the piece and the second opens quick add, so shoppers can choose a size without leaving the story. Without JavaScript every credit is still a plain link to the product.
Folimoda comes in two versions, each sold separately: a Shopify theme for Online Store 2.0 and a static HTML template for any host. Both have the same design and signature features; what each version includes is listed below.
Shopify version: what you get
- Header: issue strip, a Contents drawer for the menu, search and bag.
- Home sections: Cover, In this issue (an index with a hover figure), Credits spreads, The edit grid, Lookbook (with nested credits and a pull quote), editor's letter spread and a back-page subscription card.
- Product page: sticky columns, a swipe strip with a photo counter on phones, lightbox, Size guide drawer with a cm / in switch, Model and fit, Fabric and care, Gift note and Complete the look.
- Collection page: toolbar with Shopify filters and sorting, numbered product cards and optional named colour swatches.
- Shopping: cart drawer with recommendations, quick add, predictive search, recently viewed and pickup availability.
- Online Store 2.0: JSON templates, theme blocks, header and footer section groups, app blocks in the main sections and the lookbook.
- Colour schemes: four (paper, ink, sand and press-red), all checked for AA text contrast.
